Lil' Lakers: 3 - 4 years
This class is for preschoolers who are ready to come to class without their parent (However, parents are always welcome to join their child, when necessary). Children at this age begin to perceive themselves as individuals and as being a part of the class team.
This class introduces cooperative skills, taking turns, waiting in line, sharing ideas, and learning to interact with others on the "play ground". Body awareness and control, intermediate locomotor skills, balance, and spatial awareness are all important skills in a young child's development, while learning eye-hand and eye-foot coordination with the equipment (balls, paddles, etc.) Proper ball handling skills are taught with fielding concepts and continuous body awareness- developing the complete future athlete. 50 minutes

San Fran 4/6ers: 4 - 6 years
Graduating up to a 1 hour class, kids are further developing their cooperative skills through loco motor and movement line drills; teaching the kindergarten aged kids body & spatial awareness, coordination, balance, and directional changes on the field. An understanding of boundaries and rules can now open a world of game opportunities that will grow and nurture sports skill development.
The 4-6ers will continue working on cooperative skills and learn what it means to be part of a team; good sportsmanship, compassion, working together, leadership, and the indiviual responsiblity of being a team player. Ball handling skills will include spatial and fielding awareness, body control and balance, efficient body mechanics, and proper throwing, catching, rolling, kicking, striking, and bouncing techniques- groundwork for all basic sports skills. It is exciting to to see the kids explore and develop while having so much fun! 60 minutes
